Last week Johann Aberger, local success coach, brought a workshop to the Jaywalker U students and staff on how to effectively be the person that we want to be. Our whole lives we have been trying to find our purpose in life and somewhere along the way our addiction took that away; now we have been given a second chance to find what our true purpose is. Who do we want to be? What do we want to do? Who are we? These are all questions we have asked ourselves over and over again but never had an answer for. Last week Johann showed us how to answer these questions and how to stay in contact with our purpose on a daily basis. We found that all of us here at Jaywalker U have wanted to do big things with our lives but tend to lose the motivation to do so. We learned ways to stay in contact with our purpose by journaling, setting goals, and taking an honest look at our thoughts and actions in order to move in the direction we want to go. Mike F, JWU student, said, “It was really cool to learn how to line up my values with my actions and to lead by example through my behaviors.”
Johann opened our eyes to a new way of being and started the movement of what could be a turning point in our lives. This transformation does not happen overnight but with the help of Johann and the tools we were given we are now on our way. Jaywalker U would like to thank Johann for his dedication to helping not only us but everyone he works with.
Thanks Johann and we hope to work with you again in the future!
