“In the Spring the resurrection from winter’s cold tomb
Brings new life once again as flowers start to bloom.
All creation sings a joyous song of spring
As renewal of life brings fresh life to everything.”Excerpt from Springs Resurrection by Connie Arnold
Regardless of how we observe the arrival of Spring; the liberation of Passover, the promise of Easter, or the Spring Equinox, we all celebrate the opportunities for renewal, rejuvenation and, regrowth. The snow begins to melt, the flowers begin their bloom, and the streams swell as we prepare to enjoy the warming and lengthening of days. In recovery we have survived the cold, dark isolation of winter and embrace the sunlight of the spirit and the promise of a new way of living. We have said ” Yes to Life” and to the willingness to be reborn and break free from the chains of addiction. The triumph of Love and connection overcome the despair of our disease. Let the celebration begin.
