Recovery Class

The next two weeks the Jaywalker U students will be attending a webinar series by Faces & Voices of Recovery titled, “Messaging for young people in recovery.” JWU students will learn how to tell their recovery story publicly and effectively in hopes of helping others that are seeking help. The class also gives hands-on training on how to talk to the general public and how we can speak confidently about our recovery. The men of Jaywalker are becoming active members of the community and this is a great way for the men to learn how to effectively share their story and hopefully help another addict.

Stefan Bate, MA, LAC, CCTP Chief Clinical Officer

Stefan Bate, BA, MA, LAC holds a Master's Degree in Applied Psychology from Regis University and is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. Stefan has wide-ranging experience in the field of addiction recovery including: working as a recovery coach, therapist, and program director.
