Learning to push our boundaries in new and healthy ways is one of the many paths to personal growth and discovery in Sobriety. The Jaywalker family was well represented Friday night at the Carbondale Recreation Center’s annual bouldering competition. Jaywalker clients placed first and third in the recreational division. Alumnus Karl G. (pictured above) placed second in the intermediate division and Alum Taylor W. seized first. Alumnus Alex D. volunteered by using his climbing skills to help set the challenging routes for the competition. Our resident climbing guru and “jort” devotee Lynn Sanson was on hand to provide encouragement and “suggestions” to all the climbers. Although climbing is an individual event our men were able to attain new heights through the support and guidance of each other.
As Chief Executive Officer Bill provides leadership and manage all day-to-day operations of Jaywalker Lodge, an extended care residential addiction treatment program for adult men.
