Today marks 2 years of continuous sobriety for our very own, Peyton Ward. Peyton checked into The Landing in December 2012 and upon first inspection I knew we had a lot of work to do. Luckily, Peyton stated that he had accepted that he could no longer use drugs and alcohol without consequences and wanted to change his life in every way. I knew we might have a chance.
Two years later he works at The Landing, has good relationships with family and friends, a burgeoning amateur triathlon career in progress and I can say with confidence that my once client and now friend has, as Dr. Silkworth would put it, “ not had a drink in many years. I see him now and then and he is as fine a specimen of manhood as one could wish to meet. “ Congrats on 2 years bro. Wishing you many more.
