Jaywalker U would like to congratulate one of its first students, Mike F, on graduating from Jaywalker U today. Mike has been with JWU for three semesters now and has been a positive influence for all of the new students coming in. This was not Mike’s first attempt at college but it was his first attempt sober. Mike’s addiction took a lot of things away but just like school he was able to earn them back through the process of recovery.
Mike has truly adopted the beliefs here at Jaywalker and is now living a life full of abundance and meaning. Since returning back to college here at JWU he has gotten a 4.0 GPA in all three semesters and found his direction in life and education. Mike will stay in the community with a local member of the recovering community while he continues his education towards his bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Studies from Colorado Mountain College. Mike you have been a great student and we are very proud of you! We’ll see you around.
