I would like to congratulate Donnie Hagenbart, Jaywalker U program coordinator, on celebrating 3 years of sobriety today. Donnie grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where he fell in to drugs, alcohol, and gambling. After a few years of college Donnie attended Jaywalker Lodge in 2010, where he quickly became a solid member of the local recovering community.
Before taking the program coordinator position at Jaywalker U, Donnie was lead teller at Wells Fargo in Carbondale, weekly volunteer at Jaywalker Lodge, and a fantastic softball/baseball player. Donnie has since become an integral part of the Jaywalker employee community while continuing to further his education at CMC.
Donnie is one of the most genuine people I have ever known, he’s taught me the meaning of true friendship. Congratulations Donnie, you deserve it.
