The Roaring Fork Valley is home to some of the premier fly fishing rivers and streams in the country. Fly fishing has the potential to be a meditative and therapeutic practice. It also has the ability to induce a fumbling, knot-fixing, frenzy. One must always be reminded as to why they are there. It’s not to catch fish or make the perfect cast, but to find a little slice of peace and quiet in a busy world. This afternoon the boys at The Landing were given the opportunity to find their slice.
