Everyone here at Jaywalker would like to congratulate our Founder and Director, Bob Ferguson, on celebrating 21 years of sobriety. Bob opened Jaywalker Lodge on April 14, 2005, and has since created a continuum of Jaywalker programs that are saving more and more lives. The saying, “in order to keep what we have we must give it away,” is exactly what Jaywalker was created from. Bob’s own experience with addiction and his work experience with treatment centers across the country helped to develop Jaywalker. This is what worked for Bob, and this is what Bob thought would work for others. Jaywalker believes that treatment shouldn’t be a consequence of our addiction but rather a promise of a successful future in recovery. Bob has made a successful future in recovery and spends every day trying to show the rest of us how we can as well. We would like to thank you for everything you have done here at Jaywalker and in the community. You have helped each one of us become better people and we are all very grateful for having you in our lives. Today is your day, Congratulations!
