Friends and family may put pressure on their loved one to drink in celebration.
  4. Things: Things or objects that can invoke triggers include any bar wear or decor that encourages drinking. Signage like “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere” or having a bar set up in your home can make it harder to stay away from alcohol. These items speak to the culture of drinking and can invoke strong emotions by reminding a person of the investment they made into that type of life. It’s best to remove these once you’re in recovery.
