“Unity is strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” – Mattie Stepanek-Poet I have been member of the SOLUTIONS team since 2007 and am pleased to talk about our newest venture. SOLUTIONS has expanded our program into two phases, moved buildings, added staff and built a more robust curriculum. We have continued our partnership with Colorado Mountain College (CMC) to offer men in recovery a path to return to academics. Phase One of SOLUTIONS is now housed on 734 Main Street. Clean & Vibrant People

Last week myself and the Jaywalker Solutions men headed to beautiful Moab, Utah. I got out of the trip the pure beauty of the surroundings and being able to take them in being sober.  I enjoyed the group and the adventures we went on.  The places we saw brought me back to the times when I was on an RV trip with my grand-parents and just really noticing God’s beauty.  As I see Him working in my life daily I have greater appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me.  I’m very thrilled to have had this opportunity with other clean and vibrant people.  It really speaks to my inner being knowing that I can enjoy these trips and be able to interact with others on this journey to a bright future. Our witness was home after home either gone or shattered, looking as if cannon fire had been unleashed.  Our experience was humility as we were thanked repeatedly for being there.  Our reward was that same pastor pledging to do whatever he could to aid the victims…
