Family Dinner

As the 4^th annual Sedona alumni mountain bike trip comes to an end, all 16 alumni sat down for a family style sit down dinner. A family style sit down dinner is something that most of us lost during our addiction, and something that we regained at Jaywalker Lodge.  Family dinners are important in all Jaywalker programs, and we see our alumni continue to carry the tradition in the Carbondale community.  We promote a peer environment that teaches men to trust each other and hold each other accountable for the lives they want to live in recovery.  Whether ending the day with 60 men on alumni dinner night or 5 men in a sober house, we battle isolation with experience, strength, and hope.   A family that eats together stays together! The alumni community that has been created around Jaywalker has saved a lot of our lives and we are truly grateful for the community and friends that we have gained.
