Mark M. was one of the first people I met when I came to Jaywalker Lodge. I was nervous and uncertain of how to attain my next 24hours sober. Mark shook my hand and said, “lets take a walk.” We walked around Carbondale, connecting on the life that we wanted and how abstinence was required but not sufficient.
