Jaywalker Alumni Trip – Winter 2017

Over the last 7 years I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend 13 official Jaywalker alumni trips. Whether we are surfing in San Diego, mountain biking in Sedona, hiking in Zion National Park, or backcountry cat skiing in Silverton, our trips never disappoint! This last weekend, 10 Jaywalker alums headed to Silverton, Colorado for a few days of adventure. We were lucky enough to reserve a backcountry cat which would transport the 10 of us up and fortunately, not down the mountain! What I’ve learned over the years is this: We have fun, we have a lot of fun, but the best part is not what happens on the mountain, it’s what happens on the drive home, or the dinner that night, or reminiscing about it years later. The bond created on these trips is unlike anything I’ve seen before and an experience not to be missed.Donnie H

Jaywalker Solutions – Into the Ice

Jaywalker Solutions clients were guided today on an ice climbing expedition.  Lynn Sanson, Expedition Director, led the group up a stunning piece of ice outside of Vail, Colorado.  Recovery is about exposure to new things, sober accomplishment, and overcoming adversity together.  The Colorado landscape does not disappoint, and continues to elevate Jaywalker’s experiential treatment process. We believe in the relentless and unapologetic pursuit of happiness and joy in recovery. -Pat S

ARHE Skiathon – Keystone Colorado

This past weekend a group of Jaywalker alums attended the ARHE Collegiate Recovery SkiAthon in Keystone, Colorado. Over 200 students from 23 collegiate recovery programs from across the country descended upon the Keystone Lodge and Spa for a weekend of fellowshipping, recovery meetings, yoga, games, hockey, and of course skiing. The opening dinner ceremony was highlighted by the recognition that that was the largest gathering of collegiate recovery program attendees in history. Thank you to all the sponsors, organizers, and most of all the students for helping to put together an amazing weekend celebrating collegiate recovery. We look forward to attending 2018!John S
